Postponement of bizSAFE Awards 2021
After consultation with the industry, the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council will be postponing the bizSAFE Awards 2021 to give companies time to focus on restarting their business safely. Originally held in February annually, the bizSAFE Awards will take place in conjunction with the WSH Awards 2021 in July next year.
More information will be made available in January 2021 during the public briefing session for the WSH Awards and bizSAFE Awards 2021.
The WSH Council would also like to remind the industry to take time to take care of their employees’ safety and health as they restart their business.

The impact of COVID-19 on the business, in particular, the workers’ health has resulted in companies paying closer attention to their workers’ safety, health and well-being more than ever during this period of time.
Themed “Taking WSH Ownership and Communication”, the e-forum is organised by the Jurong Island Vision Zero Group for companies to share their best practices and to take part in an open discussion on ownership and communication.
The e-forum will touch on the importance of WSH Ownership in organisational development and WSH culture, and how taking the lead as the management in driving WSH will bring about a lasting and impactful change in an organisation. The e-forum will also highlight effective communication, which is equally crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of a company’s process facilities. Often, injuries and ill health could have been prevented if communication amongst owners and PCM partners had been effective and timely.
